As a forty year veteran guitarist and studio musician, Terry has many accomplishments and accolades. Learning guitar at the young age of 12, he began playing on Grant Leftwich's Opry stage shortly thereafter. After graduating from Moore High School, he quickly became one of Oklahoma's most sought-after session players. While his main instrument is the guitar, he is also known for his expertise on mandolin and dobro. Over the years, he has recorded and played live with many greats including Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Wanda Jackson, Leon Rausch, Byron Berline, Joe Diffie, Ty England, Jody Nix, Bryan White, Katrina Elam, Louise Mandrell, The Osmonds, Jim Ed Brown, Helen Cornelius, Jody Miller, Jason Matthew, Mo Pitney, and Jeff Wood. In addition to leading the Oklahoma Opry band, Terry also mixes the live recordings of the show for radio play. When he’s not preparing for Opry shows, mixing or recording in the studio, Terry builds custom guitars and repairs guitars and amps.

Bob Coyne
MSgt, USAF, Ret.
Strings of Valor Coordinator

AmeriCorps Member
bob@okopry.org

Robert Coyne grew up in Traverse City, Michigan and spent two decades in the United States Air Force as a Flight Engineer, working in combat flying and aerial tactics. Those years taught him what precision, teamwork, and calm under pressure really mean. After retiring, Bob carried those lessons into civilian life, taking on work in security for the Oklahoma Opry and finding his way back to the thing that has always grounded him — music. Bob co-founded Strings of Valor to help veterans learn guitar and reconnect with a sense of purpose and peace. He believes there’s something powerful about watching someone pick up an instrument and feel whole again. In addition to his security and veteran work, Bob teaches guitar to kids through Granville, helping them build patience and confidence one note at a time. No matter where life takes him, Bob still lives by the same code that shaped his years in the Air Force — service, integrity, and excellence.

Stefani Stuemky
Community Outreach Coordinator

AmeriCorps Member
stefani@okopry.org

Stefani has served an integral role in our Opry family for over twenty years. She currently serves as our Community Outreach Coordinator, collecting and managing donated items and distributing them to those we serve. She also manages our merchandise and concession inventory, answers questions over the phone, coordinates group sales, and, most notably, takes the incredible pictures that you see displayed and posted each week. It is without question that the Oklahoma Opry could not run without Stefani. Before (and in addition to) working at the Opry, Stefani taught physical education in Norman Public Schools for more than 25 years.

Vaneza Veloz-Garcia
Program Assistant

AmeriCorps Member
vaneza@okopry.org

Vaneza was born and raised in Woodward, Oklahoma, before moving to Edmond to attend the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. She also made the decision to move in order to be close to the thriving music scene in Oklahoma City. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance with plans to graduate in 2028. She is very excited to spend more time around music as a member of the Opry team. Vaneza assists with the coordination of all three of our programs: managing attendance & translations at Granville Community Music School, assisting with Strings of Valor graduations, A/V show production & venue coordination at Opry shows and more.
